New colour palette in my wardrobe by Kris Goyri
As he was staring at the sunset, Gory found his next inspiration for his Mexico Spring 2025 collection. Starting with a light-blue bandeau top attached by the metallic circle which has a light yellow colour connects the heavier orange fabric and the bottom purple gauzy pleated skirt. It perhaps symbolises the sunset, the metallic piece being the sun with the light blue sky on top and the orange/purple hues on the bottom. Although the colours might seem intimidating at first, the way he combines different colour palettes, encourages the viewers to get out of their comfort zone and perhaps add some colour to their wardrobe. Adding flow fabrics, allows the one wearing it a breezy experience, similar to a spring day at the beach. For mens, Goyri created abstract pieces that can also be worn in day-to-day life. He also modernised the way that pleats were being worn. I would say that this runway reminds me of home, watching the sunset over the Aegean Sea, with seagulls calling.
